Wellness Korea Co., Ltd has undertaken a construction of GMP factory in order to manufacture Health Functional Food and the factory is currently in process of construction

It is located in Geumseong Agricultural & Industrial Complex, 747 , Hasin-Ri, Geumsan-Gun, Chungcheongnam-Do. The area of GMP covers 4,100㎡ of land and 2,000㎡ of a building. It includes red ginseng concentrate manufacturing facility, filling facility, grinding and packaging facility and so on.

In the general section, there are a ginseng storage warehouse, a cleaning room, a steaming ginseng room, a vacuum drying room, a hot-air and cold-air drying room, and a selecting room.

Firstly, ginsengs are rinsed in the cleaning room. Then it is steamed, dried and selected. Secondly, the red ginsengs are extracted and concentrated. These processes will be successive. As a result of the continuative processes, red ginseng, white ginseng, red ginseng extract, red ginseng extract powder, ginseng powder and red ginseng powder can be manufactured.

By installation of newly built two vacuum dryers for expanded production, red ginseng manufacturing capacity of the factory per month will increase from 4~6 tons to 8~10 tons of the production. Scheduled completion of GMP construction will be on Jun 30, 2015.
